Tailings Stacking project in Saudi Arabia
This tailings stacking project in Saudi Arabia involved the design and supply of a plant and overland conveyors, as well as dual mobile stacking systems and electrical distribution and E-rooms. Notably, this project was one of the world’s first successful dry stack tailings systems, featuring fully redundant dual stacking systems with 99% availability, and has been in continuous operation since 2011. The system was designed to handle the challenging conditions of the site, including a temperature range of 0°C – 50°C.
