Heap Leach and Conveying project for copper mine in Chile
TNT delivered an impressive heap leach and conveying project for a copper mine in Chile, where extreme elevation and high capacity posed unique challenges. The scope of works included design and on-site technical advisory services, as well as the implementation of mobile super portable conveyors, stacking equipment and electrical, controls and automation systems. The project included the innovative TNT Super Portable technology, which helped to overcome the challenges posed by the site elevation, as well as the large 1800m x 1900m Heap Leach Pad, which ensured maximum efficiency and capacity.
