TNT Awarded Contract for Mobile Stacking and Reclaim Systems and 5 Overland Conveyors for Nordgold Gross

Terra Nova Technologies, Inc. (TNT) secured a contract for the design and supply of five overland conveyors, two mobile trippers, an emergency bypass stacker, reclaim hoppers and three mobile stacking / reclaim systems at Nordgold's Gross gold mine. The new mine will be adjacent to Nordgold's Neryungri mine in southwestern Yakutia, Russia. The mobile systems will support on-off heap leach stacking, reclaiming and tailings stacking, with a bypass stockpile and reclaim system.

The network of five 1200mm overland conveyors will feed the three mobile systems, which will comprise a total of forty-two 1200mm mobile conveyors. These include thirty-two 38m "grasshopper" style portable conveyors, two 20m short portables, two 29m Horizontal Feed Conveyors, two 43m Horizontal Conveyors, two 55m Radial Stackers and two mobile crossover conveyors.

This is the the second system supplied by TNT for Nordgold. At the Bouly gold mine in Burkina Faso, the stacking system, overland conveying, and agglomeration drum supplied by TNT began operation in May 2016.

Two longtime clients added new Ramp Portable conveyors to their TNT systems in 2016: four RPs at Glencore's Lomas Bayas copper mine in Chile and three RPs at Areva's Somair uranium mine in Niger.
