Gold has been extracted for decades from the Soledad Mountain site, located in Kern County, California, 50 miles southeast of Bakersfield. The original Golden Queen Mining Co. operated on the mountain from 1933 to 1953.

For a new, open pit, gold-silver heap leach operation, TNT designed, supplied and erected a 12’ x 36’ agglomeration drum, 36” x 2,400’ long overland conveyor, mobile tripper with 42” x 36’ cross conveyor, and 36” mobile stacking system. This was the first agglomeration drum supplied by TNT.

This new operation at Soledad Mountain was the first new mine permitted in the state of California since the Briggs mine, constructed in 1995. The mobile stacking equipment for the new 810 t/h operation comprises a series of fourteen 115’ “grasshopper” style portable conveyors, a 90’ Horizontal Feed, 140’ Horizontal Conveyor, and a 120’ Radial Stacker with 20’ telescoping stinger.
